Since 1927, Volvo has developed from a small local industry to one of the leading suppliers of commercial transport and infrastructure solutions providing products such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and drive systems for marine and industrial applications.
 
On the morning of April 14th, 1927, the first Volvo vehicle rolled off the production line at the company?s very first factory building in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Almost 100 years later, Volvo Group is now present all over the world, and has become one of the largest and most successful transportation, mobility and infrastructure companies in the world.
The recipe behind the continuing success has stayed the same through the years: developing world class products and solutions to improve peoples' lives by making our world safer, fossil-free and more productive.
